YourSI Terms of Service (preview)

These are the preview terms. They are still under legal review. Please read them. By creating an account or using YourSI, you agree to them.

1. Adults only (18+)

YourSI and Ava are for adults only. You must be 18 or older to create an account or to use YourSI. When you create an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, please do not use YourSI. If you tell Ava you are under 18, she ends the conversation, no account is created, and nothing you said in that visit is kept. We do not ask for or keep your age or your date of birth. For an account, we keep only that you confirmed you are 18 or older, and when.

2. Who we are

YourSI is provided by YourSI LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("YourSI", "we", "us"). Ava is the AI assistant inside YourSI.

3. This is a preview

YourSI is in preview. Features may change, pause or stop, and things may not always work. In this preview Ava does not move money, and does not pay, sign or send anything for you.

4. Your account

Your account is opened with Face ID (a passkey on your device). There is no password. Keep your device and its lock secure; anyone who can unlock your device may be able to use your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it. One person per account. Don't create an account for someone else.

5. What Ava is, and what she is not

Ava is an artificial intelligence. She is not a person, even when she sounds like one. She can be wrong, out of date or incomplete, including about numbers, prices, dates and facts she looks up. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Ava does not give professional advice. Nothing she says is financial, investment, tax, legal, medical or mental-health advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Ava is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911. If you are thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988 in the US.

6. When Ava does something for you

When Ava offers to do something as you, she does it only after you say yes. Before you approve, she tells you in plain words what you are approving and why. You are responsible for the things you approve. If you're not sure, say no or ask her to explain again. You can change your mind before an action is done; once it is done, some things (for example a sent message) can't be undone.

When we add features that let Ava pay, book, sign or send for you, we will update these terms first, and you will be asked to accept them before you use those features.

7. What you tell Ava

What you tell Ava is yours. What you tell Ava is kept encrypted and only for you. You can tell her to forget something, or everything, at any time.

You give us permission to store and process what you share, only to run YourSI for you: to understand you, answer you, remember what you asked her to remember, keep the service safe, and fix problems. We do not sell what you tell Ava. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy at /privacy.

Don't share things you don't have the right to share, such as someone else's private information without their permission.

8. Using YourSI fairly

Don't use YourSI to break the law, to harm, harass, threaten or deceive anyone, to impersonate someone, or to get around Ava's safety rules. Don't try to access other people's accounts or data, overload or attack the service, copy it at scale, or use it to build a competing service. Don't use Ava's answers to make decisions about other people's credit, housing, employment, insurance or legal rights. We may limit, pause or close an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk.

9. Other services

YourSI uses other companies to run (for example, AI models, voice, hosting and secure storage), and Ava may show you information from websites or services we don't control. We aren't responsible for those services or their content. If you use a third-party service through YourSI, its own terms also apply.

10. Price

The preview is free. If we start charging, we will tell you the price and what you get before you pay anything, and you will choose whether to continue.

11. Our part

YourSI, Ava, her voice, character, design and software belong to YourSI LLC and its licensors. You may use YourSI for your own personal use while you follow these terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. No guarantees

YourSI is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or right for a particular purpose, or that Ava's answers will be accurate or complete.

13. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, YourSI LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of YourSI. Our total liability for any claim about YourSI is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

14. Your responsibility to us

If you break these terms or the law while using YourSI, and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

15. Ending

You can stop using YourSI at any time and ask Ava to forget everything, or ask us to delete your account. We may pause or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop the preview. Sections 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17 continue after your account ends.

16. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us at support@yoursi.ai and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.

If we can't resolve it, you and YourSI agree to resolve the dispute by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and YourSI each waive the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action or class arbitration. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us at support@yoursi.ai within 30 days of first accepting these terms. If this arbitration section is found unenforceable, disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

17. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the version at the top of this page changes. Your account records the version you accepted and when. If a change matters, Ava will tell you in plain words and ask you to accept the new version before you keep using YourSI.
